Privacy

Your screenshots and chats are used only to write your replies. Datester does not keep them. Our servers hold no copy of your images, your messages or your replies.

To write replies, what you send is processed by Anthropic and OpenAI through their paid APIs. Under their API terms, this content is not used to train their models. They may keep it for a limited time for abuse monitoring under their own policies.

Chats include another person's words. We never show them to anyone, and the share card leaves them out unless you choose to include their last message.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card or Apple Pay details.

To keep free tests fair, our server keeps a count of tests per device and per network for the day, stored as a one-way code that cannot be turned back into your device or IP address. We also count anonymous events, like a test started or a reply copied, with the creator link you arrived from. None of this includes anything from your chats.

Your browser keeps a random device code and, if you subscribe, a token that shows you have a subscription. Your chat is kept on your phone only if you tick "Keep this chat on my phone for 48 hours". After 48 hours it is deleted; tap Start fresh to delete it sooner. No advertising cookies.

Datester is for adults 18 and over.
